Before you connect GitHub
Which repositories will appear?
Pull Tally shows merged PRs you authored. Public repository results can appear without connecting that owner. Private repositories must be included in a Pull Tally GitHub App installation, and your GitHub account must also have access. If only selected repositories are connected, only those private repositories are included. The dashboard explains its coverage.
Will my organization need to approve access?
Depending on your permissions and organization policy, an organization owner may need to approve or install the GitHub App. Signing in alone does not connect private organization repositories.
How far back can I browse?
You can select past months. Pull Tally fetches the PRs GitHub returns for that month using your current access, including PRs merged before you joined Pull Tally. Months use merge dates in your browser's time zone. If GitHub cannot return complete results for a selection, Pull Tally shows an explanation instead of a tally.
What happens if my GitHub access changes?
Your history depends on your current GitHub access and the App's repository access. Pull Tally fetches PR details when you load a month and caches them briefly; it does not save a permanent PR archive. If access is removed, those PRs may no longer appear, even for earlier months.
